On December 7th, Crystal Springs hosted a breakfast to honor 50 employees who had been nominated for the 19th Annual William L. Carleton Employees of the Year Award. Nominations were made by staff members and supervisors from within the agency and all nominees were recognized for the exceptional care, support and love for the residents of Crystal Springs.
Each year, two Crystal Springs employees receive the honor; one from the Children’s Services program and one from the Adult Services program and this year’s recipients are Grace Paquette, a Teacher Assistant in the Children’s program and Lee Sousa, a Day Habilitation Aide in the Adult program. Each winner received a check for $1,000 in recognition of their achievement. These awards were made possible by the Carleton family and each year, the William L. Carleton Award is given and named in honor of their son William. The Carleton family continues to fund this award in appreciation for the many years of exceptional care and dedication he received while he was a resident of Crystal Springs.
In addition to these awards, Crystal Springs also recognizes dozens of employees for reaching their 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 “years of service” milestones.
